Ambassador Rodousakis's service in Japan ends April 2006

A reception was held on April 12, 2006 at the Palace Hotel of Tokyo to celebrate the National Day of Greece and to bid farewell to Ambassador K. Rodoussakis, who is leaving Japan at the end of April. 
Among the guests  were parliamentarians, diplomats from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Prime Minister's Office, members of  the Japan Olympic Committee (among them the vice-president of the International Olympic Committee Mr. Chiharu IGAYA) and Japanese businessmen.

The members of the Japan - Greece Parliamentary League of Friendship headed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives H.E. Mr. Yohei KONO, who is also the President of the Japan - Greece Parliamentary League of Friendship. 

The business community was represented  by the presidents of JETRO and JOI Messrs. Shinichi SAITO and Shinichi JIN, as well as the vice-president of Keidanren and head of the business mission to Greece (September 2005) Mr. Hiromasa YONEKURA, along with other members of the Mission.
Presidents  and CEO of shipbuilding and shipping companies, such as Mitsui and Co., Ship & Marine Div., Mitsubishi, Sasebo Heavy Industries, Universal Shipbuilding and Imabari participated  as well at the reception. Present was also the president of NYK Line and former President of the Japanese Shipowners’ Association Mr. Takao KUSAKARI.

At the reception was also the Greece and Cyprus Desk Officer Mr. Takaaki NEMOTO, who has served in Japanese Embassy in Greece.
