The Emperor of Japan awards Folli Follie President
On April 29, 2009, the Government of Japan announced that His Majesty the Emperor of Japan awarded Mr. Dimitrios Koutsolioutsos, President of Folli Follie S.A. the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon. In the announcement, the Japanese Government emphasized that the awarding was to specially commemorate Mr. Koutsolioutsos' contribution to promoting the economic relations amongst Greece and Japan.

Vivartia taking yogurt to Japan
Vivartia, Greece's largest food group, has agreed to provide Japanese dairy firm Morinaga with technical know-how on producing Greek-style yogurt in a deal that may provide a platform for further expansion in the Asian country, the Greek company said yesterday.

Toyota once again on top in Greece
Last year proved to be the best of the last three in the local car market, with sales rising by 4.5 percent from 2006. The sales chart has Toyota once again on top; the Japanese carmaker has increased its sales in Greece by 8.6 percent, reaching 27,701 units.
